If you only have one employee, is it your spouse?
If you only have one employee on payroll and it is your spouse, you are not required to post a labor law poster; however, if you have employees who are not your spouse, you are required to have the most updated version of labor law posters. The only exception is if you are married to your sole employee.
What if you are a federal contractor or sub-contractor? Do you still need to hang posters?
Yes. You are still required to post compliance posters if you have employees on payroll. But you are also required to post specific posters for federal contractors and subcontractors.
